Phoenix, AZ- A high school special education teacher, Peter Mulrooney (39) has been arrested after a bevy of his students began to lose sleep and have radical changes in their behavior. All of the students in his class suffer from some sort of mental or physical limitations. Unable to control his class in a manner that suited him, Peter Mulrooney began an elaborate scheme to convince his class that there were in “The Matrix” and if they did not cooperate, he would have someone “Pull their plug” subsequently ending their life according to Mulrooney.

To prep his class for his grand plan, he had them watch the Matrix movies. After the viewings he began to convince his class that they were now in fact in the Matrix and all it would take is one phone call from him to have someone on the other end pull the plug and end their lives. Within an hour a scared classroom of children believed that they were in the Matrix

Shocked and scared the children raced home after the final bell. Several bed wettings and sleepless nights happened for many of his students later that night. Parents of several of the children were able to extract just what had happened that day at school. The following morning many students of Peter Mulrooney and their parents went directly to police to tell their story.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was taken into custody without incident. Because of the heinous nature of his crimes, Peter Mulrooney will face up to 10 years in prison and will never teach again regardless.
